Marc Vives is a Spanish artist, researcher, teacher and producer. He moves between the visual arts and the live arts, developing different learning strategies individually and collectively. He was in an artist residency at the Centro de Artes e da Viola Campaniça de Castro Verde between October 20 and November 3, with a public sharing of the result of the residency on November 3, in the residency space itself. Biography

Marc Vives Muñoz (Barcelona, ​​1978) is an artist, researcher, teacher and producer. He moves between the visual arts and the live arts. He develops this work from different learning strategies, individually and collectively, together with Laia Estruch, Juan López, Martín Vitaliti or Victor Jaenada, among others. Designing specific proposals with the research group Si CentroCentro fuera FueraFuera, and in educational contexts for Eina, UB, Massana, CA2M, among others. It also develops the conception or participation of contextual projects, such as the community programming tool GRAF.cat., the curatorial follow-up of La Capella and other previous projects such as Tractora KOOPE, Azpi KE, Radiobucket, Por La Vena, Yproductions, Hamaca or in Nauestruch.

Her artistic research develops an experimental performance format through voice and swimming exercises that include recent projects such as Cantar el agua (GREC, La Caldera, 2020), SSSSS (Becas Multiverso, 2019), La Fiesta (Antic Teatre, Barcelona, 2019 and CCMEX, Mexico, 2020), Vengo each day by yourself randomly  (etHALL, Barcelona, ​​2018), Es que ahora no puedo (etHALL, Barcelona, ​​2018), Barcelona atracción (Mercat de les Flors, Barcelona, ​​2016), The Wilson Exercises (Rogaland Kunstsenter, Redcat, Fundació Miró, 2016). Before that, he had participated in relevant events at the Venice Biennale (2009), Playground Festival, Belgium (2010) or Creative Time, New York (2010). His work integrates collections such as MACBA, CGAC or MNCARS, among others.
