In the theatre workshop by Malvada Associação Artística, participants explore exercises and methodologies drawn from theatrical practice, aiming to raise awareness of the actor’s craft and the artistic creation process on stage.
The session, led by director Ana Luena, includes improvisation, stage spatialization, compositional work (word, body, gaze), and partnered scene work, offering a practical training experience that is fully integrated into the creative process of LÍNGUAS, an interdisciplinary project.

The work developed in the workshop is based on the concepts and themes explored in this transcultural project, created by Ana Luena and José Miguel Soares, and on excerpts from the text being written by Angolan author Ondjaki within the scope of the project.

This workshop is part of LÍNGUAS, a new creation by MALVADA, inspired by the polysemy of the Portuguese word "língua" — meaning both language and tongue — and explores multiple dimensions in the artistic object: imagetic, sensorial, and cultural.

The project investigates languages in their intersections, particularly in the context of migration, and as a fundamental element in the social and cultural integration of people who choose to live in a country that is not their place of origin.
Developed in several phases, the process will culminate in a performance-installation at the Salão Central Eborense, in October 2025.
