Futurama was born as a cultural ecosystem of Baixo Alentejo, a collaborative and cross-border project, whose network is gradually expanding. In 2021, we started our activities in the municipalities of Beja, Mértola, Serpa and Castro Verde. This year, the municipality of Vidigueira joins this dialogue that strengthens cultural and territorial ties.
Our programming proposes not only a dialogue between spaces (cultural and natural) and between artistic territories, but also between the intangible heritage and the public of our partner municipalities. We believe in the value of the heritage and cultural heritage of Baixo Alentejo: in the photographs you can see the Moinho de Vento de Castro Verde, a detail of the Castle of Serpa, the Roman Village of São Cucufate, in Vidigueira, the Castle of Mértola and the Castle from Beja.
