We saw, looked and noticed Mértola and São Domingos' mine with brand new eyes

Two Futurama artistic residencies came to fruition and were publicly presented on Saturday 5 October in Mértola. The first resulted in a participatory project between Os Espacialistas and students from the ALSUD Professional School, "Word Hunt: Hunting, Sowing and Speaking", a game which was also a walking-visit that led many to (re)discover the corners of the village, always old and always new.
The second provided an unprecedented collaboration between Portuguese choreographer and artist Tânia Carvalho and Andalusian interpreter and performer Rocío Guzmán, in a dialogue through music, which had full house at Cineteatro da Mina de São Domingos. The first part of the concert brought together Grupo Coral da Mina de São Domingos and Grupo Os Caldeireiros de São João, two of the most emblematic singing groups in the region, who participated in the Cantexto project.
