The project The Revolution We Are, a phrase that Joseph Beuys (1921-1986) wrote in one of his works and which became the motto of an era, is an educational and creative project that brings music students from the Conservatory of the Lower Alentejo with the students of the Artistic Production Course - Specialization in Textiles at the António Arroio Art School (Lisbon), for the creation of a concert that is also a visual intervention in the natural space of Beja (Parque da Cidade), Serpa (Alto de São Gens), Castro Verde (Our Lady of Aracelis) and Mértola (Ruins of the São Domingos Mine).
While music students deconstruct Alentejo melodies looking, between the lines, for alternative paths, textile students explore this very traditional subject of Baixo Alentejo to conceive a vision for that music and those places where the concert will circulate. A dialogue between memory, geographies, music, textiles and nature.
