The 2nd edition of the Futurama Ambassadors project, promoted by Futurama – Cultural and Artistic Ecosystem of Baixo Alentejo, offers curious young people, from 15 years old and from Baixo Alentejo, the opportunity to wear the Futurama jersey.
Young Ambassadors will be able to meet with the artistic director and a thinking partner, multidisciplinary artist Gustavo Ciríaco, from various online meetings, and contribute with their ideas for a collective creation and program to be presented to the public in the 2nd edition of the Futurama Festival.
For the realization and organization of this original project, they will have funding to invite a local group or community of their choice to participate in the project. We help with the rest.
— WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for curious and proactive young people, from the age of 15, residing in one of the municipalities of Baixo Alentejo, willing to contribute and belong creatively to a creative, diverse, challenging and multidisciplinary project.
— WHEN?
Sessions take place via Zoom from May 9th, with frequency and times agreed between all participating people.
The public presentations of the collectively conceived project take place on June 9th (Friday) in Castro Verde and on June 16th (Friday) in Beja, within the scope of the Futurama Festival. For those who live outside Castro Verde and Beja, Futurama will pay their travel and food expenses on the days of the presentation.

All people participating in the Futurama Ambassadors will receive a Futurama kit (t-shirt, cloth bag, notebook) and will have free access to the Futurama Festival program in Beja, Mértola and Castro Verde.
