Futurama - Space for Arts and Knowledge opens on May 24 at Largo da Conceição nº5 in Beja, establishing itself as a new hub for cultural and artistic activity in the Baixo Alentejo region.
Designed as a meeting place for artistic creation, critical thinking, and arts education, Futurama encourages active community participation and fosters closer connections between artists and audiences.
The opening day will feature a full program of free events, including workshops, concerts, exhibitions, performances, and debates—bringing together different artistic languages and promoting interdisciplinary dialogue.
Espaço Futurama will have a regular program
Starting in June, Espaço Futurama will develop a continuous monthly program, structured around two main axes:
Workshops (on the first Saturday of each month), with artists and trainers of national and international prestige, focused on experimentation and artistic training.
Debates and meetings, under the title Constellations (on the third Saturday of each month), with the participation of different guests linked to the arts and culture, around topics as diverse as arts and technology, cultural heritage and mental health.
Exhibitions: One visual arts exhibition between May and September 2025; and one exhibition between October 2025 and January 2026.
