Among heritage, cultural and natural spaces, the 1st edition of the Futurama Festival takes place over 4 weekends, in Mértola (30 Sep), Beja (7-8 Oct), Serpa (14-15 Oct) and Castro Verde (21-22 Oct).
Projects developed throughout the year that premiere now, new musical collaborations between Portuguese and Spanish artists, a concert that connects eight contemporary writers with eight groups of Cante Alentejo (a genuine and unique musical expression in the world is Portugal's cultural heritage, which was recognised as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO in 2014), the presentation of installations, performances and workshops you can participate, a project led by the local young community, the exhibition of films that dialogue with Baixo Alentejo social, political and environmental context, and parties with incredible DJs - this is what you can expect from this 1st edition of the Festival.
Each person decides its own ticket price: you can contribute at least with 1€ per activity. You decide how much you can and want to pay for each festival activity.
