Serpa hosted the Futurama Festival on the 14th and 15th of October, for two days filled with artistic diversity and appreciation of the region's heritage.
From the magnetic concert by Puta da Silva, to the concert on stage by the duo Yeli Yeli, through the union of La Família Gitana and António Poppe, who combined gypsy music with Alentejo cante, also represented in force by the choral groups of Cantexto. We showed two documentaries, "A Terra Faz o Homem" by Cláudia Ribeiro and "A Música Invisível" by Tiago Pereira, which deal with elements of Baixo Alentejo, Fiumani marked the Bairro Operário with a beautiful installation and the Public Garden of Serpa received the performances of the Theater Group (En)Cena, at the invitation of Ambassadors Futurama, and Sónia Baptista with students from Serpa Secondary School.
