TRYPAS CORASSÃO

TRYPAS CORASSÃO is composed of Lisbon-based Brazilians Tita Maravilha and Cigarra. An aesthetic and political project of hybrid creation between electronic music and performance. The body that carries various memories and non-remembrances of violence and now has in its hands the power to change. Thus, unveiling the borders, de-borders, re-borders of gender and expression, through sound languages from various margins of Brazil and the world, from funk to jungle, chewing the POP and (traditional) popular culture, historical samples, the overdramatic and the post-romantic. Brazilian duo formed by urgent bodies of marginal women and trans fury, in a hybrid and sensual proposal, that brings a live act full of noises and creamy appeals.

On the last night of Futurama Festival, Tita Maravilha and Cigarra heat up the dance floor with their "hallucination funk pout pourri", that brings the best of experimental queer music from the global South to Beja's Public Garden.
