Lígia Soares once again tries to "put words in the spectator's mouth". In "Romance", the device goes through the action of directly asking someone to speak. This request or command becomes simultaneously a point of relation between the spectator and the performer and also a device of dialogue between the various spectators. This device contains within itself the strength or danger of speaking with the words of another, creating strong games of identification and repulsion for what is said.

The piece "Romance" was created in January 2015, in the context of a creative residency at malavoadora.porto. Its text was then edited by Douda Correria and released in May 2015.

"Say you'll lend me money if I don't get a job. Say you believe I'll pay you back later if I do. Say you won't leave me living on the street dressed like this. Tell me we're not living here in the typical situation of a leftist petit bourgeoisie empathizing with the poor. Tell me we're not! Tell me! Don't deny that you are!".
