Companhia do Sueste offers, in Serpa, a meeting space where creation is gesture and language.
Between voices, bodies, and images, the collective and students from Serpa Secondary School explore what emerges when boundaries become places of encounter.
From this crossing emerges the work—installation, intervention, or performance—that inhabits the space and transforms it, opening cracks through which imagination can breathe and bridges can settle.
What does a city sound like if all voices can fit within it?
Biography

Through its work with the community of Beja and the wider Baixo Alentejo region, Companhia do Sueste aims to promote the democratization of access to art and the civic participation of citizens, seeking to foster artistic engagement for all, particularly those experiencing social exclusion. To achieve this, it regularly develops projects and initiatives in partnership with institutions from the social and health sectors. In 2025, it launched the Baixo Alentejo Cultural Prescription Program, co-financed by the Directorate-General of Health and the National Coordination of Mental Health Policies, in partnership with ULS Baixo Alentejo, Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Beja, and CERCICOA.
