Biography
BIOGRAPHY
Sara Anjo (1982, PT) is a dancer and choreographer, interested in meditative and ecstatic practices, with breathing and walking being the main ones. She is also interested in developing her work in a relationship with outdoor space and landscape, especially natural reserve landscapes. She is also interested in rhythm and pulsation, tempo and displacement and develops a sonic theater, exploring choreography and performative space in its sonic dimension. Alongside her pieces, she has developed a work of notation and archiving, as a way of noting and noting the movement of bodies in space. She has presented her work mainly in a European context. Do you constantly question yourself about what moves us? How do we move? And where do we move? She has a master's degree in choreography from Amsterdam's Das Graduate School (2016) and her references are: Anna Halprin, Usula K. Le Guin, Hildegard Westerkamp, Yoko Ono, Werner Herzog, James Turrel and Murray Schafer.
