The 3rd edition of the Futurama Ambassadors project, organised by Futurama - Cultural and Artistic Ecosystem of Baixo Alentejo, offers curious young people aged 15 and over from Baixo Alentejo the chance to wear the Futurama jersey.

Young Ambassadors will be able to meet with artistic director John Romão and an ideas partner, artist Márcia Lança, over 8 online and face-to-face meetings, and contribute their ideas to a collective creation and programme to be presented to the public at the 3rd edition of the Futurama Festival in Beja. We invite you to be part of a creative, diverse, challenging and multidisciplinary project in the Baixo Alentejo.
For the realisation and organisation of this original project, you will have funding to invite a local group or community of your choice to take part in the project. We'll help with the rest.

- WHEN?
The sessions take place via Zoom, with frequency and times agreed between all the participants.
The public presentation of the collectively conceived project takes place on Saturday 12 October in Beja, as part of the Futurama Festival.
For those who live outside of Beja, Futurama will pay for their travelling expenses and meals on the days of the face-to-face meeting that are decided between the group, and on the day of this final presentation of the project.

It's just a reference, as this year's project will be completely new and decided by you, together with the collective that signs up by 21 September 2024.

Futurama Ambassadors will receive a Futurama kit (t-shirt, cloth bag, notebook), free access to the Futurama 2024 Festival programme in Beja, Serpa and Mértola and a dinner on 12 October with the artists who are part of the festival programme.
